Beverlea Parsons (at right in photo) is a former nurse who lived in Gisborne, North Island, at the time of the Gisborne UFO flap of the late 70's and early 80's. Bev experienced a number of UFO sightings and close encounter / abduction experiences in the infamous Waimata Valley and surrounding areas. Most of these experiences were witnessed by other observers as well. These experiences included sightings of cigar-shaped metallic craft emitting intense orange light, huge areas of the valley illuminated in white light, and other anomalous encounters.
